Help us Help Them

In a few days we will have hand-painted t-shirts available for purchase on line as well as photographs taken by yours truly. We will be selling these in an effort to support this trip. In the meantime, we could use some help out here too.

This trip is self funded and like the 39 million Americans who live paycheck to paycheck, sometimes we have more month than we do money. So, any offerings to help offset the cost of this walk are greatly appreciated.

Listed below, you will find many ways that will be of tremendous help to us as we help those without homes.

· Invite us to your place of worship. God is the reason I am doing this and I would love to honor Him with you.

· Invite us to share a meal with you. You know all about me. I would love to learn about you.

· Help with a bit of gas in the crew van.

· Let us pitch our tent in your yard, or park the van we sleep in at your church.

· Replace our walking shoes as they wear out.

· Let us plug into your electricity to charge our equipment.

· A hot shower would be nice or a nights stay in a hotel.

· Even a bottle of nice cold water would be awesome.

· Mostly, how about an email to let us know you’re thinking about us.

And always remember, where you donate is irrelevant. What matters most is that you help at all.

Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter; when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? ~ Isaiah 58:7
